CHPM2030 - Combined Heat, Power and Metal Extraction
O CHPM2030 é um projecto de 42 meses, financiado pelo Programa Horizonte 2020 da Comissão Europeia no domínio da Investigação e Inovação (acordo nº 654100), que teve o seu início em janeiro de 2016. O objectivo estratégico do CHPM2030 é desenvolver uma solução tecnológica nova e potencialmente disruptiva que ajude a satisfazer as necessidades europeias no que diz respeito è energia e metais estratégicos num processo interligado único.
Na visão da tecnologia CHPM as formações geológicas profundas ricas em metais serão tratadas de maneira a que a co-produção de energia e de metais seja possível e possa ser optimizada de acordo com as necessidades dos mercados.
Este projecto é liderado pela Universidade de Miskolc (Hungria) e tem como parceiros instituições governamentais (NERC, LNEG, IGR, SGU), organizações de investigação (ISOR, VITO), Universidades (UNIM, USZ, KLeuv), PMEs (MinPol, LPRC) e a Comunidade profissional geocientífica Europeia (FEG).
